Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming Gather and empty trash Service, clean, and restock restrooms Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties Perform maintenance and repair tasks Perform minor mechanical work Deliver parts and equipment Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment used in custodial work such as brooms, mops, dust mops, vacuums, scouring devices, etc.
Ability to work independently in maintaining a clean and orderly area Ability to exert physical effort including frequent bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs intermittently
